Professional Start-Up Service

A Controlled Handoff from Construction to Pool Care

Aqua Medic takes over after construction is complete and the builder releases the pool for start-up. We establish initial water care, observe equipment operation, document service conditions, and prepare the owner to manage the completed pool.

Aqua Medic is not the pool builder. Start-up service does not replace the builder, finish applicator, manufacturer, code official, required inspections, or applicable warranties. Construction defects and incomplete builder work remain with the responsible contractor.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions

When can a new-construction pool start-up begin?

Start-up can begin after the builder confirms the pool is complete and released, the pool is filled to the required operating level, utilities and equipment are available, and applicable finish and manufacturer instructions have been provided.

Does Aqua Medic build the pool?

No. Aqua Medic's service begins after construction and builder release. The builder and applicable contractors remain responsible for construction, permits, installation, incomplete work, defects, and their warranties.

What can be included in a new pool start-up?

Available start-up services include initial water testing and adjustment, approved brushing and finish care, equipment start-up observation, filter-pressure monitoring, documented service reports, and Pool School for the owner.

How long does start-up service last?

Timing and visit frequency depend on the pool finish, builder and manufacturer instructions, site conditions, water conditions, and the accepted proposal. Aqua Medic defines the start-up schedule before service begins.

Are equipment repairs included in start-up service?

No. Aqua Medic documents observed equipment concerns, but diagnostics, repairs, replacement parts, plumbing, electrical, gas, and other corrective work require separate authorization and may require the responsible contractor or specialty trade.

Can service continue after the start-up period?

Yes. New pool start-up can transition into recurring residential pool management, subject to service-area availability and a separate maintenance agreement.
